After I was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease, I had to change some things in my life, some days are better than others...I have difficulty walking most of the time, my neck, shoulder, hands and legs are stiff and the cramps cause a lot of pain.
But no matter how difficult some days can be, I try to wake up with a smile on my face, and my heart on my sleeve and after my first cup of coffee, I'm ready to face the world and welcome all the wonders around me....
Because I love gardening, art, music, photography and the computer, I've learned and manage to incorporate all these elements into a fun hobby of digital designs using "paint shop proXI."
I'm 56 years old and I love life, and I'm celebrating the sort of personal milestone that most woman mark in thier 30s and I feel wonderful. I'm a lover, not a fighter.
but I'll fight for what I love.
my family is big,
but my love for them is bigger....
I love driving with the windows down and my music loud.
I appear to be independent and
tough as nails....
A woman who knows where she is, where she has been, and where she is going.
But in reality I'm probably none of the above....
Wearing heels makes me feel sexy.
I'll give you all of me...
until you give me a reason not too.
I have no trouble moving on.
but sometimes I don't let the past get too far behind... I'm inspired by my grandchildren, Stephanee, Maddy, Kyle and Jolee, who continue to teach me every day the meaning of "living in the moment."
I set this page up just for my art and designs, I will add my favorite poems to the art which for me is so personal, because I love poems.
I hope you enjoy your visit here, and want to come back often and watch me grow as I develop my skills.
Happiness Always
Debra
